Muse Event Center Industrial Minneapolis Wedding | B+H

So excited to share photos from one of our favorite weddings this season! Keeping true to the Swedish tradition of getting married in the hometown of the bride, Brita and Henrik hosted their June wedding at MUSE Event Center in the stylish North Loop of Minneapolis, MN. With a large majority of their guests traveling to Minnesota from Sweden and NYC, Brita + Henrik decided to infuse their wedding with a fresh, coastal feel, full of feminine details and thoughtful nods to Swedish tradition. Dreamy watercolor, lush florals, and airy draping and sweet white cafe lights gave the modern space the perfect touch of Scandinavian glamour. Guests were greeted with Swedish Mules and rhubarb infused cocktails before taking their seats for the ceremony. An 8 foot floral wreath/chandelier designed by the oh-so talented Jackie of Munster Rose stole the show, hanging above the couple as they said their vows and later as they danced the night away. This nordic design element was also continued in small greenery wreaths, adorned on the heads of Brita and Henrik’s many flower girls. Cocktail hour featured a bevy of candles and vintage lounge furniture from Collected Rentals, an intimate and cozy spot to sit and enjoy the dixie land style jazz of Davina and the Vagabonds. During the reception, white washed vineyard cross back chairs were the perfect coastal touch, accented against the raw linen, hemstitch napkins, and glassware from Apres Party & Tent that lined the harvest style tables. Guests were escorted to their tables with calligraphed watercolor cards from Hooked Calligraphy, all hung on a canvas creating a lovely piece of art. The dinner was full of Swedish traditions, complete with a Swedish “toast master” who hosted the entire dinner that featured over 15 songs, toasts, speeches and oh-so many Swedish kisses for the bride.
